Ad Hoc Reports: Using Sorts (PF7)

This wiki entry assumes you already know how to create a basic Ad Hoc report. If you do not please read the overview located here Ad Hoc Overview before proceeding.

Using the same fields from the overview, we will create a sort. You can sort by any field but for this example the sort will be based on the customer state.

To sort by State simply place a check in the Sort box on the CUSTOMER.CSTATE line.

To view the report with the updated sort option press the “Rebuild” button at the top of the window. You will then see the report sorted by state.
