Download latest Postgres file and install.
Install to all the default locations and enter password. Use port# 5432.
Run the pgAdmin software. Within pgAdmin press the Add connection to Server (plug icon) button.
Enter the datafile name (created during install), the host (localhost), the port (# 5432).
You will then see server, database, and localhost info in left hand pane.
You will need to add the server/server group. Click File > Add Server and fill out details.
In Perfect Fit change to the SQL datafile. Once logged in go to File > Log on to PostGresSQL. Enter credentials and click Logon. Then click Test DB Connection.
In the window that pops up, select the dropdown at the top and select a table. Then select Copy data.
