SHORTCUTS FOR INVENTORY INSERT

There are several short cuts that may be used in entering data in to inventory.

1. Enter new colors in to the data-base by: INVENTORY > DEFINITIONS > COLORS > INSERT Color Code and Description. This will fill in color descriptions automatically after tabbing out of the color code field.

2. You can DUPLICATE an existing inventory number by holding down the Control key while clicking Insert with the mouse. Then change only the fields you want and click OK. You can add a new color to an existing style with out having to recreate the style.

3A. A new color may also be added to a collection of styles automatically. In order to accomplish this: Go To INVENTORY > COMMANDS > ADD NEW COLOR > Insert, add the new color, double click on styles of choice (select All for all styles) click on OK. This procedure creates new colors with the selected style numbers and copies the pertinent information such as cost and size range to each one.

3B.You may add a number of colors to a single style. Go to INVENTORY > COMMANDS > ADD COLORS ONE STYLE > Select colors for that style by clicking on Yes or No text, choose OK. This procedure will create the styles with the new colors and copy all the pertinent data.

3C. You may add a Size Group to a style by: Go To INVENTORY > COMMANDS > ADD NEW SIZE > INSERT > add the Size Code (not to be confused with the actual size ie XL,) and double click on the style(s), and click OK.
