6008: SERVICE ITEM WITH QUANTITIES IN STOCK

INVENTORY Service Item with quantities in stock: XXXX-XX

This error occurs when an Inventory item marked as a service item has quantities in stock.
Service items do not keep physical stock.

Items are marked as service items under Other Data > Notes

2 options for fixes:

1. Other Data > Notes
Edit, and uncheck “Do Not Keep In Stock (Service Item)”
On the Style Master window, go to Recalculate > Stock From Movements

2. Find the item on the Style Master window
Follow the prompts to set quantities to zero.
Click the Location button (if locations are used), and follow the prompts to delete location records.
