Scanning for Physical Inventory (Wired Symbol LS1203)

To scan bar codes to quickly bring the inventory into Perfect Fit using a Symbol LS1203 wired scanner:

1) Open a spreadsheet or text document on your computer.

2) Scan the bar code with the scan gun.
*As you scan the barcodes, the corresponding UPC #’s will appear in the open document on your computer.

3) Once you are done scanning save your spreadsheet as a text file (.txt) with the desired delimiter.

4) Within Perfect Fit, go to Menus > Inventory > Commands > Batch Adjustments F/G. Then follow the directions
here:

/IMPORT+BATCH+INVENTORY+ADJUSTMENTS
*The Import Mapping option you choose is determined by the spreadsheet type (comma vs tab delimiter) and
the layout (the columns within your spreadsheet).
