POSTPONE PAYROLL TAXES

PERFECT FIT Payroll is set up to prevent the insert of new payroll records until all former taxes have been paid. It does this by looking at the balances on all accounts with an internal number beginning with 23.

If you want to delay paying taxes, such as Unemployment that might be paid once a year, you can do a GL Entry to move the blance of the “23xx” account to a different account number, such as 2450, Accrued taxes.
