When in a list window, single click a line in the list to make it active.
Once active, use the keyboard arrow keys to move up and down the list. Page up and Page Down, and Home and END also work for larger jumps.
To perform a search press the “Shift” and number “8” keys on your keyboard simultaneously then quickly type the first few letters of the word you’re looking for. This will select an item from the list that best matches what you type. From there, you can scroll through all the other items in the list that match what you typed by pressing the “+” or “-” keys on your keyboard. If you make a mistake during the search click another line in the list, any line, then start the search process again.
