LINE ITEM SALES TAX

To make the line item sales tax work, you must go to Maintenance > Preferences > Inventory Finished Goods

Turn Preference #10 on.
“Line item Taxable as defined in Style Master”
You do not need to enter any info in the style master.

You will then need to go to each inventory item and define its sales tax status.

You must define the tax rate in the customer window in “Shipping” by entering in the correct county. If you have entered the “County Tax Rates” in Menus > Maintenance > User Lists > County Tax Rates a rate will automatically fill in on the County field.
