Decrease Cash In Bank

MenusSQL > Checks >
Transactions > Decrease Cash in Bank
Select the bank account at the top of the window (See Red Arrow).

Enter details (example is monthly bank charges) and click OK.

Cash in Bank is an asset account, which gets credited when decreased.

This type of transaction can be used for Wires, Bank Charges, Adjustments, Automatic Withdrawals, etc.

To reverse an entry made in error:
Open the same window, Decrease Cash in Bank.
Enter a NEGATIVE amount.
Click OK to save the transaction.

The window to Increase Cash in Bank could be used to offset the decrease, but that window does not allow linking the transaction to a vendor.
This method will maintain vendor history.
