Customer Window control by Sales Rep
Requires Security Module
This feature allows users to view only customers who are assigned to them as sales reps. It is not intended as a secure method to prevent users from seeing other customers and associated information.
The user ID must match the Sales Rep Code. When the User signs on to the system the program will validate the code. If a Rep code is found that is the same as the User ID, then customer viewing is limited for that person. This is controlled in the security module.
On the customer window, NEXT, PREVIOUS, and FIND display only those customers that are assigned to that rep.
If an order or invoice is open for a different customer, or any other window that refers to a customer, and the customer window is then opened, it will display that customer even though they may not be assigned to the rep.
