Batch Delete Inventory

Batch Delete Inventory, Batch Delete Stock Numbers.

You can remove from the system stock numbers that have never been used (no orders, invoices, PO’s, etc.)

Menus > Inventory
Commands > Build Styles > Batch Delete Stock Numbers
Click the lines to select items to delete.

If you place a check in the box “Show Messages when Deleting”, and select lines that have history, you will be prompted with messages during the delete process. Therefore do not select hundreds of lines all at once.

You can select many lines at once by holding down the down arrow key on the keyboard.

Option 1 allows automatic selection of items to delete based on the last edit date.
This option will also not select items that have had action, so it is an efficient way of clearing out old stock numbers.

If you have imported stock numbers and did not import the last edit date, be careful, as this procedure can remove your current inventory stock numbers.
Please confirm this field is updated before doing a batch delete.

If you have old items that can not be deleted, Uncheck the “Current” checkbox on the Style master to prevent them from showing on the select lists.
