ACCOUNT FORMAT – SUMMARY

Format type: Summary Account
On the Account Window you can enter an Account Code (type Summary) that will be used to total the details of other accounts. This field will show on the “summary” type GL Reports, and the details will not show.
Each account that will be summarized must have the field Summary Account filled in. Note that there is no data checking (validity) at this point for the Summary Account.

Account Format type: Summary Account
GL_Reports: Income Statement
Button at the Bottom of the Window: “Summary”
This will consolidate the Accounts that have been entered with a Summary Account Number into the Account immediately following that has the format type of Summary.
