Consolidated Serial Number for Omnis Studio/PERFECT FIT 7
Consolidated numbers are available for PF5 also.
The common installation of PF uses a separate serial number for each user.
A Consolidated Serial Number allows multiple users to use the same serial number. The consolidated number is licensed for a specific number of users.
Configuration:
1. Each user can have their own copy of Omnis which is registered with the same serial number for all users.
2. A single copy of Omnis can be installed on the server and all users can access that one copy.
Or you can do a combination of the above. A single copy of Omnis is easier to manage, but if anything happens to the Omnis program on the server it will affect the entire organization. A single copy of Omnis is far easier to manage in a Terminal Services (Remote Desktop) environment.
You can not have a combination of single user numbers and a consolidated number.
We can convert your existing individual serial numbers to a single consolidated number for $25 each.
A good time to do this is when you are adding more uses anyway.
Note: Once you have a consoldiated serial number, the minimum number of users you can add at a time is 3.
We will replace your old consolidated number with a new one.
If you have struggled with the error “Too Many Workstations in Use”, you should seriously consider purchasing a consolidated serial number.
