4036 and 4039: No Transactions on a Posted Bill
A posted Bill must have transactions.
You can fix this marking the Bill as NOT posted, then either Post it again or Delete it.
Note: If a data file is rebuilt, and the Internal Reference number was a duplicate, the transactions that were connected to the second payable are now connected to the first payable, and the fix should be done differently than described here. This is an unlikely situation for users of PF7.
On the Payable window, Find the payable that is referred to on the Diagnostic report.
The Payable Number is the Internal Reference Number.
Click the PBL_HEADER button to open the Programmers Payable Header window.
If you do not see the 2 buttons circled in red, you do not have access to the Programmers windows.
You will need to get someone who has this access to fix the payable.
Click Edit
UNCHECK the Trx Inserted? checkbox.
Click OK to save your changes.
Close the Programmer’s window.
You can now either delete the Payable or Post it.
