INVENTORY – ITEMS WITH NEGATIVE QUANTITIES

    For Quantities in Stock:
MenusSQL > Inventory Finished Goods > Commands > Show Negatives.

This will analyze your Finished Good Inventory and your Parts Inventory.

    Single Item Fix:
    Go to Menus > Inventory
Find the Stock number that is shown on the report
    Recalculate > Stock From Movements.
This function will confirm that the In Stock Quantity is supported by the Inventory Movements file.
    If there are still negatives:
Click Adjust, and enter a positive correcting quantity.
If locations are in use, examine the locations window to make sure your adjustment is against the correct location.

    Batch Fix:
Menus > Inventory > Commands > Batch Adjustments.
Insert > Load All > Remove Negs > Remove 0
You can print this list and delete lines if you want to not process some of the items.
Click OK to make adjustments to remove negatives.

If multiple locations are used, each location must be processed separately.

You might be able to find out how this happened by looking at the movements for this item.

    For Quantities on POs/Cuts:

If Purchase Orders or Cut Tickets that have received more than ordered it could cause a negative on the Inventory display.

To fix this, on the PO window or Cut Ticket window make sure Receiving Complete is checked.
On the Cut window the checkbox for Parts Used and Costs Complete must be checked first.
